From January to April, the Turks and Caicos Islands, especially Grand Turk and Salt Cay, offer fantastic humpback whale watching. These months mark the migration of humpback whales from the northern Atlantic to the warmer Caribbean waters for mating and giving birth. It is a great time to join guided boat tours to witness these majestic creatures breaching and displaying various behaviors in their natural habitat.

The magical "An Evening of Art" lights up the beautiful Shore Club resort each January, filling the night with local music, delicious food, and an amazing showcase of island artists sharing everything from stunning paintings to handcrafted jewelry. Guests spend an unforgettable evening bidding and mingling, all while supporting the wonderful Edward C. Gartland Youth Centre, which gives local kids access to life-changing programs, caring mentors, and fun activities to help them grow and thrive!

Get serious about indifferent fishing at the Who Cares Fishing Tournament on Providenciales. Fishers compete to win cash prizes and the tournament's ceremonial toilet seat trophies. Registration includes beer, water, and T-shirts. Boats depart from the Turtle Cove Marina, and proceeds benefit local charities.

THE WINE CELLAR FISHING & GOLF TOURNAMENT

March 6-9, 2025

This multi-day competition is the largest tournament of its kind in the Turks and Caicos Islands and is a major fundraiser. Since its inception, the Wine Cellar Golf and Fishing Tournament has raised more than half a million dollars for Turks and Caicos youth and sports organizations. As the name suggests, the event is put on by the largest wine and liquor store on Providenciales, The Wine Cellar.
